Shipping & Returns

Orders are shipped according to best available rate and transit time as determined by our computers based on package weight and destination. Before you checkout you can see your shipping cost by using the shipping estimator prior to checkout. We use UPS as our primary standard service carrier, but packages may also ship via USPS, OnTrac and/or FedEX. Please allow 1-6 business days from ship date for delivery when choosing Standard Shipping, usually much faster but just in case. Available for addresses inside the 48 contiguous states only. *Expedited orders (3 Day, 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air) need to be placed placed prior to 11 AM PDT. Order placed on Friday's after 11 AM will not ship until Monday.

Northwest Growers Supply ships from more than 20 warehouses across the United States with a primary goal of getting you what you need fast and trouble free. Orders always ship from the closest warehouse with stock available to the delivery address. We may have your order fulfilled directly by the manufacturer or one of our many distributors if it will reduce the shipping time.

Free Shipping

Free shipping on orders over $100 promotions are offered for a limited time, over 90% of the products we sell are eligible for free shipping promotions.

Free shipping will automatically be applied in the shopping cart if all the products are eligible for free shipping. If one item in the cart is ineligible free shipping will not be displayed as an option.

Products excluded from free shipping promotions include but are not are not limited to following; Tray Tables, Nutrients, Hazmat, Restricted and certain LTL Freight only products. If you have a question about the free shipping promotion and if an item is eligible please contact us. 

Shipping Policies

Standard shipping is based on weight for orders within the 48 contiguous United States. Shipping rates for all orders outside the contiguous 48 states are based on package dimensions, weight and destination. All services may not be available in your area. For more information, please read our shipping policy details below.

Shipping Cut Off Time

Orders received after 11am PDT will be processed for shipment by the next business day. If you are placing an order using an expedited delivery method please be sure to submit your order prior to 11am PDT otherwise the order might not make it out until the next business day. 

Standard Service

3 Day Select Upgrade

Your 3 Day Select rate will be determined during checkout based on package dimensions, weight and destination.

You may upgrade to 3 Day Air Select, a guaranteed service. Your order will be delivered on the 3rd business day after the ship date. Please see chart for delivery days 3 Day Air Select shipments release Monday through Friday. Air services are not available to PO boxes. Hazardous/flammable items are restricted from air shipping methods.

2nd Day Air Upgrade

Your 2nd Day Air rate is determined during checkout based on package dimensions, weight and destination.

You may upgrade UPS 2nd Day Air, a guaranteed service. Your order will be delivered on the 2nd business day after the ship date. Please see chart for delivery days. 2nd Day Air shipments release Monday through Friday. Air services are not available to PO boxes. Hazardous/flammable items are restricted from air shipping methods.

Next Day Air Upgrade

Your Next Day Air rate is determined during checkout based on package dimensions, weight and destination.

You may upgrade to UPS Next Day Air, a guaranteed service. Your order will be delivered on the 1st business day after the ship date. Please see chart for delivery days. Next Day Air shipments release Monday through Friday. Friday shipments will arrive Monday. Air services are not available to PO boxes. Hazardous/flammable items are restricted from air shipping methods.

Oversized Items

Truck Shipments deliver your order to your curb or dock. The charge varies based on distance, weight, bulk, and other factors. A physical address and phone number are required for delivery. The ship costs quoted include lift gate delivery if necessary. Additional charges for delivery to the door or inside the door are not included in the ship costs and will be determined by the shipping company at the time of delivery based on distance and other variables.

Outside the 48 Contiguous States

All shipments to customers in APO's, HI, AK and PR do not qualify for standard service fees Shipping rates are determined during checkout based on package dimensions, weight and destination.

International Service

International shipping rates are determined during the checkout process based on package dimensions, weight and destination. In some instances a customer service representative may contact you after the order has been received by our system. Depending on your country you may incur additional fees such as brokerage fees, taxes and duties. Please check with your local government on the possible costs.

Estimated Shipping Costs

We reserve the right to notify you of any additional shipping charges necessary to deliver your order. We do our best to ensure that shipping is accurately calculated in your shopping cart at the time of purchase, however, at times, it may not be possible to do so accurately for many reasons; item size, destination, rural, etc. If this occurs, you would be notified of any additional charges necessary to deliver your order. If you are notified of any additional charges, you can modify or cancel your order for a full refund.

Special Order Policy

Special Order items are marked as such online and in the products description on the website. We will contact all customers of special order items to get approval to proceed. Due to the nature of a special order the following policies apply:

Special Order Items

  • Non-returnable unless defective.
  • Must be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order.
  • Pre-payment is required before the item(s) will be ordered from the manufacturer regardless of account terms.
All efforts to expedite a special order will be taken. However, we cannot guarantee the item(s) will be in stock at the manufacturer's warehouse at the time the order is placed. Lead times will vary due to stock conditions, time of day the order is placed, inadequate pre-payment, or other credit issues.

Returns and Refunds

How to return an order/item(s)

We will provide you with return instructions. Returns must be post-marked, within 30-Days from the date received and in re-sellable condition.

Exceptions (please contact us if any of the following apply to your return)

  • Order total weight over 150LB are governed by our Large Item Return Policy
  • International Orders are governed by our International Return Policy

Once we receive your return, please allow a couple days for us to inspect and process your return. Credit Card and PayPal purchases will be refunded to the account you provided when you placed your order.

Packing and Sending Your Return

When getting your item ready to send back, please make sure that the item meets the following guidelines to expedite the return (and protect it):

  • Make sure the item is in its original box and original packaging
  • The product is securely packaged to avoid damage
  • Include the RMA # that we provided for your return (makes our job easier)

Large Item Return Policy

Due to the expense of shipping large orders, large items are governed by a separate Return Policy. Be sure to carefully inspect all large Item (freight) deliveries for damage before signing the bill of lading as freightliner handling charges cannot be refunded. If items arrive damaged or defective, you must note this on the shipping receipt and refuse delivery to avoid paying actual freight charges. Please notify us of any delivery problems as soon as possible to expedite the refund process.

Please note that you will be responsible for the actual freight costs in the following instances:

  • You miss your delivery appointment
  • You refuse or return a non-damaged, non-defective item

Damaged

First and foremost our sincere apologies as this is not what we want our customers to experience. Within 30 days of the purchase date, we will gladly process an exchange of damaged/non-working merchandise. To return an item; We will provide you with return instructions. Damaged merchandise does not include packaging, during transit packaging may be worn, dented, etc. due to the carriers. If this is the case and the product is in perfect condition a new order or return will not be accepted. If orders ship in packaging other than a chipboard box such as a bucket, etc. a claim will not be allowed as long as the product is usable.

International Returns

International Orders are governed by our Standard Return Policy with the following amendments:

  • International Customers bear full responsibility for insuring return merchandise arrives at our warehouse within 20-days of initiating a return, including all incurred shipping, duty and tax charges
  • Manufacturer warranties sometimes vary in countries other than the United States, please contact the respective Manufacturer to find out whether coverage varies in your country

Do you have restocking fees?

In very rare instances you may have a restocking fee. Typically this doesn't apply to most returns.

  • Non-defective merchandise returned in visibly used, or damaged condition
  • Orders "Refused" without authorization
  • Large Item Returns are subject to a 15% restock fee
  • Opened original product packaging that isn't defective
  • Returns that were shipped back after 30 days of the date received (Note: unless authorized, late returns will be rejected)

Warranty

Purchases are no longer covered by our Return Policy once the item is used. After this time, products are covered by their respective Manufacturers Warranty.
